Here is a typical day at Nara Ikuei Global Elementary School.

Morning meeting
Good morning! Everybody comes to school full of energy.

Cleaning (work as the Nakayoshi group)
The day begins with morning cleaning. Students work together, a multi-age teamwork, to clean the areas they are in charge of.

Tamaishiki ANNIE Sound
Pronouncing English before actual class begins to warm-up for the day.

1st period
In Basic Advanced, each student introduces something they are interested in to the class.

2nd period
Speak Out Personal is a combination class. One group lesson with a Japanese teacher and then a one-on-one online lesson with a Filipino teacher. During this time, students try their best to express themselves in English.

20 minute break
Everyone is full of energy! Students move their bodies to refresh their minds!

3rd period
At KIWAMI shapes, students build up their understanding of geometric figures by using iPads and textbooks. Everyone works with great concentration.

4th period
In arts and crafts, students made their own beautiful stained glass.

Students look very happy with their lunch. We are committed to providing nutritional meals and building a strong body.

The first class after the lunch break is Tamaishiki S.D.W. where students learn perseverance by solving challenging problems.

6th period
The English team-teaching classes are conducted by a Japanese teacher and an ALT teacher. Students enjoy learning English in an active and academic manner.

7th period
The last class of the day is a physical exercise (P.E.) class. This is when students actively exercise.
Closing session
We learned and exercised very hard today. Let's go home safely!
