Nara Ikuei Elementary School was established in 1956 and we have celebrated School 60th anniversary and Ikuei Gakuen 100th anniversary in 2016. We are located along the Sabo river which is in Manyoshu and very close to the Todaiji-temple, Wakakusa mountain and Nara Park where many deers inhabit.
All children have hidden potential. Our aim is to foster them to become those who make contributions to the global society by providing the education to understand diversity, cultivate communication ability and deepen cross-cultural understanding.
The Ikuei vow was made by the former chairman of the board, Choji Fujii in 1946. It shows the deep worship toward others, high ambition, always being diligent in one’s studies and keep building up the personal quality. This is the spirit of the founding of our school and the first pillar that will never change and continue to guide our education in the past, present and future.
